Last weekend was a busy one here so apologies for the gap. We attended a handing seminar hosted by Mid Herts Gun Dog Society. Guest speaker Mr David Alcorn presented a very informative day. I think no matter how long we have been showing our dogs, sometimes a day like this is of great value. The next day we were showing at a locally in Maidstone at the Kent County Canine Society Open show. Our Micha de Solemel Avec Nizzana (Imp Fra) was in AVNSC open class. He did very well and was awarded a respectable 2nd in a good class under Judge Mr Derek Ellis.
This week now sees us preparing for Crufts. The Canaan Dogs will be judged by Zena Thorn-Andrews, sadly with only seven entered that is the lowest number for some years, looking at records from 2000. Good luck to all who have entered.
