We have our slight gap in show results for Canaan Dogs and have no news from others about any events they have attended. We have Discover Dogs on the horizon, something I have loved to attend in the past. With our dogs on the stand and also to just visit and see what’s new in the world of dogs.
Its just one of many indicators that the year is waning, other indicators are a late summer and here on the south coast it’s been lovely weather – too hot to get on with garden chores but great for the dogs to gently cook themselves in. We also have noticeably darker evenings and mornings so setting off to a show in the dark and returning home in the dark is now a reality. Finally, the schedules are now on line for some shows for 2022 and for the Canaan Dog the year starts with the Manchester Champ show at Stafford. The Utility breeds will be shown on Saturday 22nd January 2022 and the Judge will be Mr Barry Blunden.
We now have the week to prepare for Darlington and looking forward to being in the ring again with our dogs. Come and find us in ring C on Sunday 19th September.
