The Kennel Club has recommended that all shows are now cancelled or possibly postponed until the end of June, including all training and other events. This has had a huge impact on the Canine world as well as the general population. Personally plans for showing abroad have been curtailed and refunds are underway. The work load for the online show forums has increased; refunding monies has been the order of the day. We are now walking the dogs as usual but taking more care to avoid the more popular areas. We are blessed here on the coast. Some areas when the tides are out have miles of sand and fresh air. The woods can get busy at times but there are always some paths off the beaten track.
Plans to travel for a mating with our Sulu also now need to be rearranged and we enter a new world of Artificial Insemination.
So with no show or training news anywhere in the world I am open to suggestions for items to fill the column.
